Ethiopian Military Truck Overruns a Public Bus in the Somali Capital

Mogadishu, (insidesomalia.org)-An Ethiopian military truck overruns a civilian bus at Florence intersection in wardegley district in the Somali capital Mogadishu and has caused damages to the civilians on board.

The bus was on its daily routine between Sana junction and Bakara bazaar, the biggest commercial point in Somalia.

An Ethiopian water tanker overran the public bus, and 7 people were instantly wounded including the bus driver.

All the wounded were the passengers travelling in the bus, and they were taken to the city medic centres. The state condition of some of the wounded is severe.

An eyewitness speaking to somaliweyn radio said that he has seen with his naked eyes two very seriously wounded persons.

The Somali soldier in the junction scared away the rescue civilians who come to help the victims with live bullets though no bullet casualties were reported.

It is not the first time for Ethiopian military trucks to damage public vehicles, especially the public service ones, it was only last month when Ethiopian military truck overrun a cab at Km4 roundabout in Hodan district in Mogadishu Somalia and the cab driver right away passed away.

So far there is nobody who comes forward to speak about these problems by the Ethiopian troops in Somalia particularly in the capital Mogadishu.
